Gas Interlock System

Gas Interlock Systems (GIS) are a mandatory safety requirement in commercial kitchens when installing new canopies, adjusting cooker layouts, or fitting Category ‘B’ equipment such as ovens and deep fryers, including replacements in existing setups. GIS automatically cut off gas flow if kitchen extraction fans fail, ensuring compliance with DW/172 standards for minimum airflow rates in commercial kitchen ventilation systems.
